Suffolk County is committed to vigorously enforcing all state and local laws that apply to tobacco and vape sales and use, especially laws that prohibit the sale of tobacco and vape products to youth under the age of 21.
In 2020 the State of New York banned the sale of flavored liquid nicotine products. If you know of a business that is selling or in possession of illegal products, such as flavored liquid nicotine, please call Office of Health Education at 631-853-3162, or submit a complaint form, to prompt an inspection by the Suffolk County Tobacco Enforcement Unit. If you have a concern about cannabis related products, please file a complaint with the NYS Office of Cannabis Management on the complaint form link found below.
