Looking to Quit Vaping?

Have you ever tried to quit vaping, but didn’t? The Office of Health Education offers free vaping cessation classes for individuals ready to quit vaping. Nicotine is an extremely addictive substance which makes it difficult for people to quit, but change is possible!

The vaping cessation program is offered over a series of four weeks where participants will learn facts about vaping, nicotine’s effect on the brain, signs of addiction, developing resilience and coping skills, and how to change a habit.

Looking to Quit Smoking?

If you or someone you know would like to join a class to quit smoking, the Office of Health Education also offers free smoking cessation classes to county residents. This program is offered over a series of six weeks and provides behavior modification and supportive pharmaceuticals to medically eligible participants. All cessation groups are supervised by a nurse practitioner and services are provided to residents at no cost. Program participants also receive personalized follow-up.
