Looking to Quit Vaping?
Have you ever tried to quit vaping, but didn’t? The Office of Health Education offers free vaping cessation classes for individuals ready to quit vaping. Nicotine is an extremely addictive substance which makes it difficult for people to quit, but change is possible!
The vaping cessation program is offered over a series of four weeks where participants will learn facts about vaping, nicotine’s effect on the brain, signs of addiction, developing resilience and coping skills, and how to change a habit.
To be eligible to participate in this free program, you must be a Suffolk County resident. If you are interested in joining an upcoming class, click here or call 631-853-3162 to sign up.
